Duties and responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, distribute)

Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
-
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
-
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
-
Complete diary logs into inventory
-
Report any discrepancies
-
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
-
Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
-
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Qualifications
-
Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
-
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
-
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
-
Good organisational and time management skills
-
Ability to lift heavy objects
-
Current forklift license
-
High school degree
Working conditions
The Warehouse Worker position requires a person to work in special working conditions.
Special working conditions cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working indoors and outdoors.
The Warehouse Worker MUST be accurate, and follow the time-schedule of the warehouse department.
Collaborate with all other departments for the best results, in the best manner, in good professionalism and good faith.
Inform of any change, lack, alteration of any/every product to the General or Warehouse Manager at any given time at the restaurant, during your shift.
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for delivering accurately and in time all products to the specific department that asked for them so as to complete their tasks. He MUST ALWAYS FOLLOW the instructions of General and Warehouse Manager without hesitation or second thoughts or do something he thinks better.
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the warehouse operation, application of a F. I. F. O. system for all products of the warehouse. The warehouse worker must always collaborate with the other departments (kitchen, bar, beach cashiers) at all times for optimum results.
Physical requirements
The Warehouse Worker’s position is an extremely physically demanding position. You will be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, do repetitive tasks with one break, and be responsible for the entire operation of the warehouse and OF ALL ORDERS DELIVERANCE to the specific departments that made those order requests, immediately.
