Duties and responsibilities
  • Coοrdinate the entire restaurant operation
  • Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently to customer complaints
  • Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive
  • Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
  • Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations
  • Control costs and minimize waste
  • Successfully promote and publicise the brand
  • Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
  • Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
 

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as restaurant manager
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service management
  • Extensive food and wine knowledge
  • Proficiency in English is a MUST, (other spoken and written languages will be an extra asset for this position)
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Acute financial management skills
  • BS degree in Tourism, Business Administration or Culinary school diploma, food safety training will be considered a MUST
 

Working conditions

The Restaurant Manager position requires a person to work in special working conditions.
 
Special working conditions cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors and working with challenging clients.
 
The Restaurant Manager MUST create, fill-in and continually renew the week time-schedule of your restaurant team.
 
Collaborate with all other departments for the best results, in the best manner, in good professionalism and good faith.
 
Inform your team of all changes and ingredients of any/every plate is in the menu of the restaurant.
 
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for explaining, guiding and training the restaurant team on all aspects of their individual jobs and responsibilities.
 
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for all reservations that are made via telephone, e-mail, facebook, on-site and must always collaborate with the Guest Relations Manager at all times for optimum results.
 
Physical requirements
The Restaurant Manager’s position is a mentally and physically demanding position. You will be required to stand for extended periods of time, maybe lift heavy objects, do repetitive tasks with few breaks, and be responsible for the entire payment methods and operations during service and also assisting guests that are residents of our suites.
